This past Sunday I went with three of my bridesmaids to pick out which dress they each were going to wear (I gave the girls three different options) and then out to lunch. If you follow me on Instagram then you already saw our spread, and yes it was as delicious as it looks! With each step the wedding is feeling more and more real, which is just so exciting!
With the weather starting to get warmer I was finally able to wear my leather jacket again without freezing my tookus off. Side note, does anyone else ever call their behind a tookus? Is that a weird thing to call it? Anyways due to my excitement at being able to wear my leather jacket again I wanted to plan an outfit around it this weekend. I’ve also had this shirt since Christmas and have only worn it once or twice but I knew it would be perfect with this outfit. With the jacket on it worked because of the cowl neck on the shirt and with the jacket off the cool back was visible. I’m such a sucker for a top with an open back, always have been and always will be.
I got this backpack last year but the clasp broke and it has been out of commission until last week when I brought it to the leather store in my town to have it fixed. It feels like I just got a brand new bag! Backpacks are seriously so amazing and comfortable to carry around. I admit I sometimes carry it with both straps just for comfort reasons even though Bill and my sister Allie tell me I look twelve. Twelve and comfortable is okay with me.
I’ve been sick the past week though so I’m going to call it a night. Hope you all have a fantastic day!
