This past weekend Bill and I went up to New Hampshire to spend Christmas with his family. We had such a nice time! There was so much snow, the perfect white Christmas! We took these photos on Christmas Eve before going over to the Omni Mount Washington Resort to go tubing and have a drink in the gorgeous hotel. If you’re ever up in New Hampshire you should stop over, its a beautiful spot. It really looked like a winter wonderland!
I can’t stop wearing fur vests. It’s been a bit chilly around New York lately so I’ve been throwing them on over everything to add another layer while still looking dressed up. They also add another dimension to this top and jeans, a nice way to change up a look to get more wears out of a top.
Speaking of this top, it’s only $28 and comes in 12 colors! It’s great quality for the price and is so flattering! The longer length is probably my favorite part though. It makes it so much more versatile to wear with different things. I wore it recently with my leather leggings for a holiday party and also with regular leggings to run errands. Both times I got a ton of compliments on it!
This was also my first snow with my new bean boots. I’m late to join the party with them but I can’t say better things! These are the women’s 8inch thinsulate boots in tan/brown. I went with the 8inch after reading reviews about how they’re better for snowy/rainy conditions because your ankles don’t get wet. I was able to walk through pretty high snow and slushy puddles and no water got into my socks, so I’d call them a success! With the camp socks they were warm enough to play in the snow for a while but if I were going to be outdoors for hours I think I would either need thicker socks or to get the shearling lined boots. I chose to go only with the thinsulate though so I could wear them in more seasons than just winter because they’re also the perfect rainy day boots!
