Happy Monday! I know Monday’s really don’t deserve to be celebrated but things have been pretty good over here lately. I will do full posts on them but two weeks ago Bill and I got married (!!!) and then went on an amazing honeymoon! That alone is enough excitement to keep us happy into this lovely Monday!
We also though just moved into our first home together, an apartment in NYC! It’s a one bedroom apartment and lets just say our decorating is going slowly ha! This past weekend we finally bought a couch so that was pretty exciting. We also ordered this rug, so once they both come in I think it will really help bring the place together more. We also bought this kitchen cart, these shades for our bedroom since they didn’t come with any, this vacuum, this drawer organizer, and this adorable mini tree skirt!
Which leads me to our next thing that was super exciting, we bought our first tree together! It is the tiniest little thing and fits on our kitchen table but we love it! Bill also let me go full on Christmas spirit and get a pretty wreath for our door too! This was after going on a date to Bluestone Lane Cafe to their UES location. It was such a beautiful place! It’s adjacent to the historic Church of the Heavenly Rest and is completely sandstone. You really felt like you were eating in the church, it was really cool. Plus the food was amaze.
But enough about life lately and onto this outfit. I am obsessed, like obsessed, with these pants. I have wanted a pair of leather pants for what feels like forever but have never taken the plunge. I can’t believe this pair isn’t real leather, the quality feels incredible, even my mom thought so and she’s a tough critic sometimes. For size reference I’m normally a 27 in pants but I went two sizes up per the reviews and ordered the 29 and they fit perfectly. I’ve already worn them so many times. They’re great because they can be dressed up or down so they’re extremely versatile. I also love that even though they’re pull on leggings the back pocket makes them look like real pants #leggingsallday.
This sweater is also so cute! I originally bought it this summer during the Nordstrom sale and am so glad I did. It looks like a sweater but feels like a sweatshirt which means ultimate comfort. Plus the side slits and longer length make for a really interesting piece. Then, my clutch could not be a better deal. I’ve seen so many designer ones that are like 6 times the price so for $40 this one is needed. I literally use it at least once a week. Cheetah is a neutral in my book so it goes with everything.
Have a great Monday everyone!
